72. People have gotten around Boxer's Patriot Act vote
Hopefully, if he proceeds as one of the leaders of the party, which some in the media have said is his defacto position at the moment, perhaps that vote of Kerry's will be counterbalanced by other, better things.

Like the children's health care legislation he's about to submit on Monday, for one. Can't wait to see the legislation that some of us co-sponsored, btw.

I still think it's folly to judge these folks on a vote for or against one thing. I'd hate to see Boxer's support wan immediately after she votes for something some don't like. I'm personally not getting on that rollercoaster. People like Kerry and Boxer are better than their votes for IWR or the Patriot Act.

I try to remember what was going on when these things happened. Several of us had to wake up to just how evil these people are, evil enough to play poltical games with very, very serious stuff.

On my site, I have the IWR speech that Kerry made if you'd like to read it.
