Don't know if this is a response to my LTTE Sheehan Walks The Moral High Ground http://www.theday.com/eng/web/news/re.aspx?re=98f42a1e-c45f-4953-8a3f-8262c4d6a0bd published this past Friday, but here's the Connecticut RW spin on Sheehan...

Cindy Sheehan is not walking the moral high ground, but instead the gutter of the American left and its twisted view of the world. Here are quotes from a speech she gave a few months ago:

“If George Bush believes his rhetoric and his bulls—t, that this is a war for freedom and democracy, that he is spreading freedom and democracy, does he think every person he kills makes Iraq more free?” “The whole world is damaged. Our humanity is damaged. If he thinks that it's so important for Iraq to have a U.S.-imposed sense of freedom and democracy, then he needs to sign up his two little party-animal girls. They need to go to this war.” “We want our country back and, if we have to impeach everybody from George Bush down to the person who picks up dog s—t in Washington, we will impeach all those people.”

Walking the moral high ground, indeed. I agree with Ann Coulter's Aug. 18 column: “We're sorry about Ms. Sheehan's son, but the entire nation was attacked on 9/11. This isn't about her personal loss. America has been under relentless attack from Islamic terrorists for 20 years, culminating in a devastating attack on U.S. soil on 9/11. It's not going to stop unless we fight back, annihilate Muslim fanatics, destroy their bases, eliminate their sponsors and end all their hope. A lot more mothers will be grieving if our military policy is: No one gets hurt!”

Ms. Sheehan, the media and the anti-war left have used the death of her brave son as a springboard for political gain. Shameful. With all the media hype of Ms. Sheehan's anti-war protest and comments, do people even remember her son's name?
