7. The left is in the gutter
to rescue the truth where the RW cast it away. And what political gain is there in the truth? Does it stop it from being true or is it that what props up the politics of the RW is only lies for political gain? The writer puts himself at the poles of a struggle that makes his own stand as extreme as the left could only wish for. That death is life and that truth is the only hope for people to gain back political power to stop a crime and a lie and make themselves truly safe.

The other fabric of lies and insults merely highlights the exposure.

BTW, when Bush said "I need to get on with my life" perhaps he too was irritated that such quibblings by people donating their children's lives to the Armed Forces are interfering with something or other. But I believe instead this is Bush at his most revealing dumbness, caught out echoing some discussion about Sheehan they must have had in Crawford. I had some personal experience of this phenomenon when I wrote a passioned letter asking some reporter or other in the great MS<M not to support or vote for Bush in 2000, merely to obtain access. Coincidentally the next day Bush was joking about reporters being nice to him or else they would lose access.

It seemed to me then as now Bush betrays discussions with others this oblique way that might be seen better as what he thinks about protesters. That Cindy "should get on with her life" was supposed to be the subtle message. But Bush for all his smirks and sneering does not do subtle very well or clearly. especially since he knew that openly snapping she should get on with her life was so terrible that putting it as his own example seemed acceptable in comparison- and his real thought about the matter in any case.

Like the letter writer, unfortunately a thoroughgoing expletive deleted of your appropriate choice. BTW also, I felt more personally attacked by the anthrax mailings, and nothing was done about that killer of domestic origin. As far as "we" fighting back, I think it is the Armed Services not Ann Coulter's mouth that is cast into action, albeit in the wrong country.
