Final vote: 251 Ayes to 174 Nays to 9 Not Voting. 18 Republicans defected to go up against the Patriot Act. If all Democrats stood fast, they would have won against the Patriot Act 218-207. However, 44 Democrats sold out on Americans' civil rights:

I got a little flack some here for posting that list of DiNOs and guess what? 73% of the Dems that were listed as DiNOs in that thread voted to keep the Patriot Act.

They are not only not representing us, but they are also a part of the problem, leading the country down a path of no return toward fascism.
