(very infrequently I might add), and you are right in the way we Christians look at it; however, that is not what the Koran states (which says nothing about the 70+ virgins); however, there are like three reasons Allah justifies killing. One is an act of war; two is blaspheme against Allah; and three is if your enemy will not convert to Islam. This is the only holy book I've seen where God specifies when and why one human being should kill another human being. I don't know about the Torah, but I don't think the Christian Bible states that. I know and "Eye for an Eye" but that is in the old Testament and we are suppose to follow the New Testament. Only book of God I have ever seen that speaks of justified killing.

The one that stuck to my mind is the one that Bin Laden stated on the newest tape tonight. He called for a truce :toast: (never happen in other words).

Then the second offer was asking Bush to convert to Islam. By converting you are not stating that God is just a different name for Allah or the hundreds of names for God the Hindu's have nor the Jews. When converting to Islam, you have to forsake Jesus Christ as the son of God and believe he was only a prophet because Allah would never even compare himself in any way to mankind (not exact wording but trying to get it as close as possible), and that he is the only one and true God. If you do not do this, then you must be killed by beheading. Also, the reason there has never been peace in the Arab/Muslim part of the World and never will be is because they have a belief similar to our Eye for an Eye except theirs continues to say for seven generations those that were wronged, from grandfather, to father, to son, to grandson, to great grandson, etc., have a right for revenge. So if one of those generations feel they have evened the score, then it starts all over again. I apologize to American Muslims who are members here on DU as I know I am not stating this as it should be but I have the basic meaning down. One of my doctors is from Pakistan. We became friends and I would ask her questions regarding the Muslim religion and why so much violence. She said, basically, the same as all the Muslim Leaders stated . . . Islam is a religion of peace; however, she did tell me the above.

Also, she said that Bin Laden was like a hero to the Arab Muslims. Kids had T-shirts, mouse pads, posters . . . he is a big celebrity. She also told me that when we see the pictures that they run over and over and over of Al Qua ida members training, that is a commercial trying to recruit men. She said it was just like when one of our Military Branches runs a commercial for recruitment.

She also told me that when the Taliban were in control of Afghanistan, Pakistan went to play Afghanistan in soccer. She said that after the game (or b4, I cannot remember exactly), the Taliban were so upset with the Pakistan team wearing shorts rather than long pants to cover themselves, that they held the team and shaved everyone of their heads as a punishment (she laughed about this). She said it was on the T.V. there and that it showed their Pakistan team all coming home bald. Anyway, she told me a lot and told me a lot to read and it's surprising . . . but I'm far from

The more I think about Bin Laden's statement, reading between the lines is as if he is stating that they are going to get Bush. They are either going to kidnap him or something. How, I don't know. I cannot fathom them even attempting such a thing. I guess because they were successful with the twin towers, Bin Laden has either went completely nuts, or they have some plan in doing so. Bush's security has to be the best in the World, and it should be with what it is costing us. There should be no way in Hell they can get near the President in this day and time.

What worries me is kidnapping someone closer to Bush and using them as a ploy to get to him. Yeah, I probably watch too much TV (I watching "Air force One" right now, , however, God help us all if something like that would happen.

We are told everyday that our government will not negotiate with terrorists; however, if the above scenario (God forbid) should happen, I bet our policy will suddenly change. I mean Cheney doesn't have to follow the same laws we have to so, obviously, they live by their own laws and rules.

Those evil bastards have no conscience to speak of and are full of hate for this country, and now especially with Bush since the War in Iraq. They hate us, they hate Bush, and everything that we stand for; however, they will take our money we send them for aid for the poor and use it to buy weapons and bombs to kill us with.
