4. here is what I think

1) Edwards was taken completely out of context on her comments. She saw the post later, and decided that she would communicate to Senator Clinton what she really meant; it illustrates consideration for a fellow Dem

2) The blog in particular mentioned on this thread, which is where this stemmed and picked up by the AP (guess it's good they are paying attention to us) may not necessarily support the Dems or Repukes and was trying to purposely pit Edwards against Clinton, since JRE is ahead of Clinton in the polls in Iowa...

3) We don't know the exact questions and exact answers to those questions either. This happened in Time magazine too, and from reading Edwards' book, Saving Graces, I could tell some of the answers to questions were taken out of context completely. So easy to do for print; in person, Edwards is able to tell her side with kindness, candor, etc, as we saw on Hardball, and on numerous radio interviews live.

My real question is this:

How do we not know that the telephone conversation between Edwards and Clinton was not leaked by one of the Clinton staffers, and yet her chief communications officer refused to answer calls?

Just a few thoughts, fellow DU'ers.
