16. Hello? It underscores in satire the ridiculous OVERREACTION
to a single misstatement, a single episode of "foot in mouth disease" that is now the derigeur of our MSM and society... Don't give the person benefit of the doubt, don't let them explain, simply stoke maximal outrage and.... arrange for the (political) funeral. It is social satire.

Think about it...Marty is making YOUR points with humor, just as Jon Stewart, The Onion, and many other forums for social parody... Social satire is a timeless technique of social commentary, just as political cartoons have been.. Think Jonathan Swift and Mark Twain from the 19th century and the previously mentioned Stewart and COlbert from today....:shrug:
