like, black immigrants are treated differently than black natives.

like, maybe there's a difference in attitude.

i don't know. would black immigrants display the defeatist attitude of certain black natives to the question of an Obama presidency in the first place?

we are all black, but there are divisions of blackness. that's true. plus Obama was raised by his white mother and then his white grandparents. Obama apparently speaks in his books about treading that line, and having to deal with feelings of an identity crisis, and of trying to be hyperblack to compensate for his mother being white. i haven't read his books, though, to know for myself.
