Ron Paul's second place is great in one way--it shows GOP voter solidarity is lost and diffuse

As does the volatile and radically shifting rankings from each primary state thus far--they lack a unifying voice this year, they are painfully searching for a consolidating idea of what their party stands for, and they will not therefore all be happy with the eventual nominee. This is all very good.
