14. Decimate it? Sorry, the only decimation going on is from the MSM...

That doesn't give a damn about Mr. Gore unless they can tie him into their political rhetoric. So here is my response to this. I hope it makes your day.

So yes, let's push Mr. Gore back into this against his will, because he sure isn't appreciated on the whole by the MSM and many others it seems for all of the great work he is now doing on this crisis and so much more that will define this generation which he can now devote all of his time to which he wasn't allowed to do stuck in that system for thirty years. So let's push him into it again to have to go through that crap all over again. And of course, the MSM and I would suspect some out here are getting bored with the current crop because they squeezed out all of the pettiness, hatred, and bickering they could... so of course, they would just LOVE to have Al Gore as a target again to bring out some more and really divert him off his chosen path. They would just LOVE to see a knock down bloodletting bare knuckles fight between him and Bill Clinton to get their ratings up and make it "interesting". Frankly, they make me sick.

It is amazing to me how this man could win the Nobel Peace Prize and that is still not mentioned by so many when talking about him. He sits in Davos for an hour workshop on climate change and global poverty, and still all people want to talk about regarding him is the "horserace" that he is not even part of rather than the pressing crisis we face. Did Jack Cafferty happen to mention the campaign that he IS launcing this next month through The Aliance for Climate Protection? Of course not, because that just isn't important or sexy enough.

I am not in the least bit interested in seeing him have to go through all of that crap again especially when he has stated truthfully that the people of this country are not at the place where they should be to demand that climate change be the primary issue it should be, which we are seeing up close and personal in this campaign because it is not... MAINLY because of people not talking about it loudly enough still. And if he made it the center of his platform in any political campaign now he would be dismissed just like John Edwards because he would be in the same system. Why people don't get that I will never understand.

But hey, the pundits who are now just looking for some red meat to keep people watching will pull whatever they can out the hat as long as it doesn't entail actually DISCUSSING CLIMATE CHANGE. The American people on the whole are still as apathetic and this system is still as corrupted as it was in 2000. But that doesn't matter to those like Jack Cafferty and others in the media who simply want a show... And the same people eat it all up.
