4. I think we need some "radical" progressivism...
...not just baby steps. And not just the US, either. If the nations of the world don't get together soon and start working some of the problems out in a way that benefits ALL the citizens of this planet, none of us will still be around to talk about it. I seriously worry about what kind of a world we're leaving our grandchildren.
(Gotta admit, National Geographic has been scaring the crap out of me lately.)
