7. Thank you! A voice of reason
I once was engaged to a public defender. It's a thankless job, for low pay. Most of their cases involve clients who aren't exactly pillars of the community. Our court system, flawed as it is, does provide for everyone having a competent attorney. And that attorney must put aside his or her feelings about the defendant, and in this case, the victim, and vigorously defend the client. Which is what Hillary did. She wasn't happy about it, even tried to get out of it. But once she was that person's attorney, she had to use all available ethical means to defend him.
