The MSM will push Obama in the GE too -- here's why...

It's rather straightforward...

1) Only Obama can restore America's image in the world, as he will be automatically seen around the world as "the antidote to George W. Bush". The American MSM's credibility rises and falls with national credibility around the world.

2) More importantly for mass media profits, his administration will be a lot more "interesting", with far more stories to report -- so much will be "new", and for a long time -- this will be the ultimate political honeymoon.

3) Obama is the first politician in a long time who gives an authoritative voice to generally progressive positions -- the media likes a powerful sounding President to present to their viewers.

4) Obama will be even more "interesting" if a scandal happens to hit his administration, and what administration has gone scandal-free?

5) The MSM _wants_ the government to take over health care -- they can't afford to offer it to their employees any longer -- as the mass media's profits get increasingly squeezed, they will be frothing at the mouth to hand over this responsibility to the government.

6) The MSM is tired of Iraq -- they have already been scaling back their coverage. The reality is that they don't want it to be a story at all any longer. They are tired of losing their reporters and staff over there.

I am confident that by Fall, we'll see Obama in the 60's and McCain in the 30's. The MSM will make sure of it.
