Obama appears to now have to be 'courting" the gay vote that he doesn't have. Good luck with that. Gavin Newsome is quoted as saying that Obama wouldn't even take a picture with him because he wants to "distance" himself from the "gay marrigage". issue.this after Newsome gave a fundraiser for him! Obama will throw the gay community under the bus so fast it will make your head spin. He explains most of these actions as "politcal pragmatism" such as " reaching out" to those ofthe black religious community who are homophobes. he says he doesn't "have to agree with them but he needs their votes."
