36. Right on
Elitist pieces of shit. The #1 reason that Southern Appalachia isn't a solid lock for dems are idiots like the ones you are talking about. Here's a guide for outsiders...

1. Appalachia was ground zero in the "Labor Wars" in the late 19th/early 20th century. You know all those early labor people who literally bled to make this country a better place? Yeah, that was us, assholes. Think about that the next time you praise labor but mock Appalachia.

2. Appalachian people aren't "Southerners". Different mindset. Different accent. It's a totally different culture.

3. We have cities! And not only are they fairly large, but they aren't all that different from any other city. You know what else? Even the people who live in the rural areas have plumbing and roads. Sometimes they even wear shoes! Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with you people? Actually, I know the answer. It's become crass to insult the darkies living in the city so you channel your bigoted rotten bile onto some far off "other".

You know why the place has become a Republican stronghold? People like you who can't think before opening your Goddamn mouths.

Sorry to be so vile, but some people deserve it.
