Vice President Hillary Rodham Clinton?

Interesting thoughts have been running through my head over the last couple of days.

How great would an Obama/Clinton ticket be?

It's our dream ticket, really.

Obama could remain his hopeful, positive self, giving change speeches and delivering movement rallies to the people -- while Hillary can come in as the Veep Attack Dog and go after John ~McCain without mercy, unleashing the tough lady we all know and love, while defending Barrack Obama along the way. This ticket would bring us Clinton supporters back into the fold. This would bring Experience and Change together, in an unstoppable force.

It seems to me that this is a likely scenario.

John ~McCain is popular with Latino voters, given that he's from Arizona and sort-of supports "amnesty." It's important that Obama has Hillary's popularity with Latinos when going into a General Election against ~McCain.

Hillary is also very popular with older Americans who may feel uncomfortable with a new comer like Barrack Obama and may otherwise stray to ~McCain's familiar message.

Not to mention Hillary will be going into the Democratic Party Convention with a shit load of delegates. With that comes power and influence.

When Hillary was recently asked about this scenario, she switched the subject back to her campaign for President. But sometimes it's what politicians don't say that means the most -- and she did not reject the idea as a possibility.

Furthermore -- in February, a month where Hillary Clinton lost 0-11, she still raised over $35 million; more than a million dollars per day. Obama raised $50 million, using his momentum with 11-0 in February to bring in incredible amounts of dough. It's clear that an Obama/Clinton ticket would be unstoppable in terms of fund raising. An Obama/Clinton campaign machine would be able to double, if not triple the amount of money ~McCain will raise from his mixed up and divided supporters on the Republican/Conservative side.

The first black President and the first woman Vice President on the same ticket, at the same time in History. Imagine the energy that could be generated by such a thing. Already -- their names have been plastered everywhere -- "Obama ... Clinton ... Clinton ... Obama ... !!!"

Exciting times!

Women + Latinos + Older Folks + African Americans + White College Kids + Independents = Obama/Clinton 2008

Now -- I am not giving up on Hillary. But I will say that if she wins the nomination, Obama is too nice to be a Vice Presidential candidate. There's another equation if Hillary wins to be explored after the votes in Ohio and Texas.

We shall see.

W.
