Ferraro's gender does not excuse her original comments nor her new ones.
Obama simply called her out because of those comments, not because of her gender. I find it ironic that some of the more extreme Hillary supporters mock Obama for allegedly pulling the race card, yet have no problem of pulling the gender card when it wasn't even a factor in the first place.
And the fact that you keep harping on the fake Muslim angle says a lot more about you than you realize.
