Reply #46: Ferraro is a racist, pure and simple, and Obama called her on it

Good for him. It's also no secret that there are many racists in Ohio and Alabama. Many of those people probably share your views and wouldn't vote for Obama if their lives depended on it. If Obama fails to win the General Election because of the racist vote, fine, at least many of these people are being shown for who they are. However, the majority of Americans are not like the Ferraros, jackson_dems, and many of the white residents of Alabama and and Ohio.

But this response to Ferraro is a line drawn in the sand for Republicans. They are welcome to trot out their racist smears, their disrespectful trivializing racism and its legacy and all this other crap that gets euphemized as "white ethnic resentment" but they will be called on it for what it is.
