Furthermore I feel a profound sadness for a great many of my DUers who, as it happens supports someone I perceive to be the lesser of the two candidates. A great many of them I have the highest regards for. So in all fairness I get this from your post as well and perhaps I am being a bit unfair to you.

Perhaps I have a bit of shell-shock. There truly have been far FAR too many hit pieces posted here, many of which could have been written by freepers who found our spell check feature useful. Your response to me was gracious. This is another of DU's strengths. It is not a strength prevalent as of late....I applaud you for keeping the tradition alive.
