and you, the friend, will be left out in the cold, but, I still say "threaten him with the police" even if you really don't. I had a problem with a MYSpace account that kids at the school I was subbing at had going and the police documented it. All they did was take down the URL and didn't go to my computer but then again I agree email is a little different. They had six officers involved in my case and it put it to rest right now and the kids all got expelled.
