If the MSM is sugesting Obama the his granny under the bus then I think they are off the mark. I don't think that is what Obama did. It was a poignant and personal comment on what it meant to grow up as a dark-skinned boy in a white household in a racist society.
But it really does highlight the issue of identity politics.
Every gay person had more than just a grandmother condemning and disapproving of their identity. They had the whole vocal family. And in a hell of a lot nastier language too.
But where does that leave us?
