21. you suppose that YOU are somehow more privileged to honor King
with the divisiveness you demonstrate in your answer here?

You do realize that Obama, himself, condemned the Pastor's words. Just because he doesn't feel uncomfortable listening to Wright's sermons and contributing tens of thousands of dollars to him doesn't mean that the rest of the folks who are offended by his words have to be so tolerant and accepting of the reverend. After all, it was Obama who condemned the statements as 'inflammatory'. Anyone else who criticizes the pastor is just reflecting the revulsion with the sentiments that Obama already took pains to denounce.

“I reject outright the statements by Rev. Wright that are at issue,” he wrote in a campaign statement.

"I categorically denounce any statement that disparages our great country or serves to divide us from our allies," he added. "I also believe that words that degrade individuals have no place in our public dialogue, whether it's on the campaign stump or in the pulpit. In sum, I reject outright the statements by Rev. Wright that are at issue."

Did Obama 'sully' Martin's memory when he denounced Wright's statements? The hypocrisy here is astounding.
