ie she lied. That is a big admission - going after it - after the story played out for at least a week and then returned with Bill's comment wasn't going to win points. I think HRC lost as many points on that as she is going to lose. In addition, it would be kicking her after she conceded she lied. That is NOT classy.

I think that Obama is for a top politician an average debater - but I saw McCain in the Republican debates, he was probably at about the same level at best. They both can come across as very likable. What Obama will have in his favor is ... the issues. Even with Snuffy asking the questions Kerry tore McCain apart when they had a joint appearance shortly after Crocker and Petraeus came to Congress last September. Obama will practice for the debates - as even John Kerry did. I would be surprised if Kerry wasn't part of the team helping him - because he is a great debater and because he likely knows McCain better than anyone on our side.
