Rock and Roll was really fun and often goofy in those days, before the English took it another way.

I was glad to go on that trip, too, but those happy songs of the late 50s and early 60s still have a warm place in my heart. I don't know how our parents put up with the kids singing those songs over and over and over.

"It was a one eyed, one horned, flying purple people eater ...."
