Now: 86 delegates to go. Nothing like 1968 race in May, so raising the assassination in June has nothing to do with her having a chance to gain a lot more delegates like Kennedy did winning California.

Also meaninglessly invoked 1992 campaign and said Bill didn't have it wrapped up until June. The interviewer who had no knowledge was happy to let that slide, but we remember it - Bill shoved Tsongas aside early and he withdrew in March. She remembers that, of course.

So, she has two inapplicable statements and then brings up assassination.

We'll never know if the worst interpretation was true and she was actually trying to hint about what she wants. More likely she was trying to scare super-delegates adding "target" to "unelectable". NO way this was just a gaffe. It's brinksmanship. It was a tactic that she got called on.
