Back on April 8, SoS Clinton expressed concern about Pirates...

Here's a comment from "Joe"

"George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and many many more have all expressed concern about pirate attacks and all have never done anything about it except pay the pirates ransom and move on. Lets see if Hillary actually recognizes that standing idle will never solve this problem."

I'm guessing Obama certainly realized ransoms don't solve the problem.
