The purpose of this group is to draft the current Attorney General of the State of Missouri, Jay Nixon, to run for US Senate in 2006. Attorney General Nixon defeated his Republican challenger in 2004 by 59% to 37%. He recieved 1,590,531 votes. By comparison the current President of the United States recieved 136,183 fewer Missouri votes than did Nixon.

Jay instituted the popular No Call Program that is a model for other states, won the landmark victory in the U.S. Supreme Court in Nixon v. Shrink that cleared the way nationally for campaign finance reform, and has been a leader in criminal law and victims’ rights.
