6. Yes, he was awesome ...
and seemingly very depressed this evening.

I feel the same way but I'm also ashamed that more of our Democratic Representatives did not speak out against this "Torture and Secret Detention" Bill. :(

We must vote out all incumbents who WILL NOT FIGHT to overturn this Un-Constitutional Bill in their next Democratic Primary. If it takes new Democratic Blood, so be it.

May our Higher Power give us the strength to counter "the birth" of what may be a budding totalitarian society under One Party Rule ... we may not turn the tide for decades but I will not lie down for fascism.

Today, my dear fellow Americans, was made the deepest cut to our Civil Liberties.

Dear God, give me strength to stand up to these heartless thugs. :( I will NOT back down, nor be silent in the presence of Authoritarian Right Wing Nut-cases. Finally, it's time for me to write another check to the ACLU.

God, I'm so ashamed of our Government today ... both the arrogant posturing republican legislators around our half-wit pResident - AND - those democratic representatives who FAILED to cry out in anguish over the loss of Habeas Corpus. You're either gutless or vomit, or perhaps BOTH in my eyes today.
