The sheer excitement that is aroused at the mere mention of the possibility MUST tell us SOMETHING about both Gore and our current candidates.

Do you think GD-P would EVEN EXIST if Gore was the candidate?

Gore is like a mirror in which we can see a true reflection of both our own hopes and desires AND the current state of affairs regarding the motley crew of current candidates.

This is why I stay out of most GD-P discussions. Hillary, Obama - rate about "2". Edwards maybe a "3". Gore rates a 10. Why argue about a 2 versus a 2.5 or a 3 when you've seen the 10? But he's not running -- sigh...

Yes, yes, I know -- all Republicans rate a NEGATIVE 10, so I'd still vote for a "2".
