On the other hand what dem could have up until 2006...when Pelosi and Reid took over. Not a whole hell of a lot better than the previous years.

This leads me to one of two substantial pieces of criticism I have toward Obama being president. Are we merely looking at more of the spinelessness we've seen from the 06 - 07 Dem Congress? The bipartisan talk reminds me of the congressional strategy.

I don't have my hopes up but a change of party in the WH may give the dems more resolve.
