Eight years of the Shrub has affected everybody in the country, and for all but the 20-30% who still drink the Kool Aide, they recognize it's been negative. People are desperate for a change, and don't care as much about nitpicking details about candidates as they once might have. They care about the war, the economy, and altering the way politics has been done over the last 14 years.
