I kind of like the "take him at his word" line though. Sure, it's sharp practice. But as Obama rides to victory on the basis of an epidemic of fucking OPEN fucking CAUCUSES, Republicans, "independents," patronage from the mighty Oprah, upper-income latte liberals who don't need a President (just an imaginary hip black friend,) love from the Russert & Matthews firm of boys' club media poobahs, the ageism and sexism of twenty-year-olds, and just generally clueless apoliticals who wounldn't even bother with Obamania except for the fact that American Idol is on re-runs right now, and they're jonesing to vote for some hack with "charisma" and Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken aren't available right now...

as he rides to victory on such an unholy alliance, anything's fair play from Hillary. At this point, vis-a-vis Obama, there SHOULD be blood.
