Some thoughts from an Ohio voter.

First of all, I've tried to be fair so far.

Secondly, I don't care who wins. As long as they do it honorably, I'll be proud to say "President Obama" or "President Clinton."

But I have to say, here in Ohio, I've heard a lot of Obama ads.

Today, I received a postcard in the mail about how Hillary is a hypocrite on energy policy, from Obama's camp.

I've heard Obama's ads on the radio for several weeks now. Usually, about one every few days, though I only listen to the radio for about an hour a day, and typically flip during commercials.

I have not heard on ad for Hillary. Nor have I received any postcards, phone calls, or e-mails.

I have not received the latter two from Obama either, though I'm not in any phone banks or e-mail lists for either.

Both candidates have recently visited Cincinnati, my home.

Now, what I have seen, and this is merely one Ohioan's view, is Hillary discounting Ohio by saying that Barack has to win RI. Sorry, but in light of her PR person's position, the caucuses statement, and the midwest's statement, not to mention the complete lack of advertising in Ohio, it seems like she's either written off this state, or assumes it will go for her.

Obama, it seems, is at least fighting for Ohio. He's paying attention to it. That could be because he needs to keep his momentum going, or because he views my state as the nail in the coffin.

Nevertheless, it seems to me that he is at least trying to court my opinion.

Now, I'm basing my vote on a lot of things besides just advertising, and though I'm leaning toward one candidate, I've got a few things about both of them I don't like. But it really doesn't count in Hillary's favor to ignore Ohioan constituents.

That's just one Cincinnatian's take. Do with it as you will.
