13. Once was enough.
There are some of us who are not moved by Obama's admittedly eloquent speeches.One major disagreement I have with the vast majority of voters is in using speeches to evaluate candidates instead of actual actions.

I disagree with Obama right there, of course. I think ALL wars are "dumb wars." I think war is the non-thinking, unethical way to solve problems.

Obama's 2002 speech is nice. Of course, the fact that he supported the Iraq war from the moment he got to congress and started voting to fund it is problematic. He didn't vote "no" to funding until he was well into his primary campaign.

Those votes to fund the war make his spoken opposition a lie, from where I stand. You don't vote to fund an action you believe to be wrong. At least, you don't if you have any integrity.
