This story stinks and looks more and more like a Hillary smear scheme.

1. Why in the world would a pilot even have to know to perform evassive manuevers? There are others in the plane, you know?

2. Why would mountains matter for a steep descent?

3. Many times the aircraft is flown by back seat flyers, the pilot doesn't necessarily need to know how to fly the aircraft. Happens all the time. Oh! but when Hillary does it it's BIG news. Typical of a vast RW conspiracy.

4. Pilots don't make landing decisions, First Ladys do.

And another thing, why when someone basis their whole campaign around ready from day one and a tremendous ammount of foreign/conflict experience would the truth even matter, don't we have more important issues to debate like who some Pastor married?
