In PA, Obama has closed the gap to 10% on Clinton, up steadily over the Rasmussens the last three weeks.
Obama wins Orgeon easily vs. McCain; Clinton loses it.
In CT, Obama cruises over McCain; Clinton squeaks by.
NC is an Obama blow-out over Clinton, up dramatically from a one-point margin a week ago.
In CA, Obama outperforms Clinton vs. McCain in a GE head-to-head (proof the primary winner doesn't matter).
Only recent news from Mizzou is good for Clinton, showing her outperforming McCain in a head-to-head (and more proof that the primary winner doesn't matter).

Nationally:
NBC/WSJ has Obama trending up into a tie with Clinton, beating McCain in a GE head-to-head while Clinton loses to McCain in a GE head-to head. This poll also shows Clinton's politics spiking her negatives and dropping her positives, with minor changes in each for Obama.
Gallup has Obama up by a point nationally vs. Clinton.

All of which begs the question: if a some Democrats desert the party after a more progressive Obama secures the nomination, but he still has the voters to win the GE, which the hypothetical head-to-heads show, then isn't he still the better candidate?

Edited for UPDATE: New Gallups show Obama widening gap vs. Clinton, outperforming Clinton vs. McCain.
