There is no more passionate and prolific defender and promoter of Senator Clinton here than jackson_dem. Are we really to believe that jackson_dem is the enemy, the representative of all things evil, who must be bashed and smashed and destroyed at all costs?

I just challenged a criticism that jackson_dem made against Obama and the earth did not stop spinning and it did not cause Bush to bomb Iran, nor did it cause McCain to surge in the polls, nor Hannity to have material to use against us, nor did it advance any secret "Rovian" plan. Nor did jackson_dem feel compelled to make vicious personal attacks in response.

No one has more strongly advocated against the wisdom of a Clinton candidacy than I have, starting the day after the 2004 election when the talk first started. But here we are. If I can treat Clinton supporters with respect and dignity, then I see no reason why everyone here cannot.

Please don't tell me that "they started it" or "they have it coming." Two wrongs do not make a right.
