- Not only did he THINK of it, he worked for it... in Illinois. And it turned out to be a disaster. Something he admits and is the biggest reason he is against it now.


"Second if the gas tax was repealed all those people who do not have cars would be in imediate danger of all types of catastophe."

"The people that do have cars only commute 3/4 of a mile on Sundays."

"People who live in places like Phoenix and Los Angeles are fucked, as they should be because they deserve it by living there."

- Not only is it "chump change"... CONSUMERS WILL NEVER SEE ONE DIME OF IT. The oil companies will raise their prices by the exact amount of the gas tax, wiping out any savings that the consumers would get. This has happened EVERY time a gas tax holiday has been tried. EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME.

- Yes. We want a President that actually thinks through issues instead of making decisions based on emotion. We've had a President for the past 8 years that governed by tweaking Americans' emotions (mostly fear). It's about time we have someone who utilized reason in his decision-making process.
