73. I'm curious why they positioned Barack at one end of the bowl instead of in the middle
near the river (about halfway to where you were). I checked out google maps before the event and assumed that's where he would be. It seems to me a lot of people were blocked out by the two large trees to Barack's right.

I'm going to be going to Portland for the first time on vacation this summer, I can't wait. The polls have Barack winning Oregon by about 10 points. I think it will be a minimum of 20. What do you think?

And that crowd is really impressive, but...I have thought if Barack spoke on the Great Lawn in Central Park here in NYC on a nice weekend afternoon, he would draw a minimum of half a million people.

btw, did they have enough latte for everybody? :)
