2. I mentioned this a few months ago (threadlocked) because I saw the CYNICISM of their
continuing campaign when they knew shortly after Super Tuesday that Obama had won the nomination math.

They knew because McClatchy had surveyed the supers and they were overwhelmingly in Obama's column though unwilling to go public till HRC was out of the race (maybe Clintons are vengeful like Bushes, eh).

So, it was obvious their cynicsm extended to the fact that there would be targets drawn on Obama by the various racists who do not draw the line at violence.

I never implied they would seek to assure it happened, but that their opportunism and their view of the American people was so cynical that it was partly driving their decision to STAY in the race.

But, reading the Clintons clearly and comprehensively has also received a lot of flak here at DU in the past - but, it looks like more Dems are opening their eyes. For that I am grateful. Though sorry it has to come at such high price to the discourse.
