Kentucky US Senate Race (Mongiardo/Bunning) now dead heat! (43%/43%)

Frankfort, KY - A new poll by Garin-Hart-Yang Research conducted October 15-17 shows Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Mongiardo and Republican Senator Bunning tied at 43%-43% in Kentucky’s U.S. Senate race. Only 36% of likely Kentucky voters want to re-elect Jim Bunning, while 50% rate his job performance as only fair or poor .

Mongiardo said, "It’s clear that Kentucky voters are rejecting Senator Bunning’s negative campaign of attack and distortion. Instead, Kentucky families want a Senator who will work to lower the cost of healthcare, make prescription drugs more affordable, and create jobs in Kentucky. I am going to win this race because Kentucky’s working families are struggling, and they are ready for a Senator who will fight for them."

Now Mongiardo needs to get a substantial portion of that 14%! Honestly, I didn't expect Mongiardo to do become even close to being competitive with Bunning, but it looks like I may have been WRONG...
