After a long battle with many illnesses, dad passed away on Sunday night. His funeral will be on Friday, and he will receive a military burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery.

I am sad, yet relieved. Because he had been on a feeding tube over the last year, life was not as pleasant for him. We were able to do some interesting things; especially having to do with WW2 and a movie scheduled to come out in Disremember called Detroit’s Greatest Generation.

There are so many thoughts I would like to share, but time does not allow that just now. I will post more insights once things calm down. If you wish to send a memorial in honor of Wallace M. Barringer, we ask that you donate to these two charities:

Penrickton Center for Blind Children (I went there at age 2-3.)

Angela Hospice (They were our hospice care for dad.)
