I think its funny that they always say what a champion of the lakes every politician
from Michigan is.

Try getting elected state-wide in Michigan if you take the side of trashing the lakes!
Even Republicans have had to pose as avid environmentalists to get elected here.

Hoekstra didn't stand a chance in Michigan for Gov. because he was on record pushing for
slant drilling into the lakes.
