Was from a 20 year old woman who was quoted for her reaction. She thinks that Bush is doing a poor job of running the country but because of his stand on gay marriage, she strongly supports him. Why is she against gay marriage? Because the first two humans in the Garden of Eden were a heterosexual couple.

I laughed out loud at that because:

1) John Kerry was also against gays marrying. (did this woman vote for him, they seemed to agree on everything, including this issue?)

2) The Bible is not the basis for US law.

3) It doesn't matter if the country goes straight down the toilet into the cesspool and past that to a sewage backup in China. Just so those gays don't marry.

Let me reiterate this yet another time: There is NOT ONE SINGLE Constitutional reason why people of the same sex should be denied the right to publicly declare their committment to each other and be afforded all the rights of marriage. And yes, that includes calling it a marriage. Marriage is NOT a solely religious institution, otherwise atheists would also be fighting for the right to marry.

Oh George, let me see you in my office. HR wants to talk to you. Your temporary position will not be going perm any time soon. We regret that we extended your contract and we're now looking into firing you.
