Dr. Wieland is running against Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin

in the Democratic primary.

I just signed a petition.

He's going to have to hurry to get the 1500 signatures in time, but he just might.

He probably can't beat Stephanie Herseth Sandlin in the primary, but I'll vote for him.

If he does win in the primary it will risk loosing an otherwise "safe" democratic seat to a wingnut, but Stephanie Herseth Sandlin may almost as well be a Republican if not a wingnut.

I figured that it might help fire a warning shot across the bow so to speak that South Dakota Democrats are NOT all happy campers regarding her representation.
