28. Questions about Waukesha
While I grew up in the area, it's been a few decades since I spent any time there.

I remember that Waukesha used to have a fairly sizeable blue-collar Latino community, primarily due to people moving there in the 1940s and 50s to work at the Waukesha Engine factory.

Is there still a large Latino neighborhood centered around The Strand near the old Jimmy's Grotto stand? (showing my age there, I guess). Do they vote Republican, too?

There are also at least 3 Unitarian churches in Waukesha county, and at least one or two UCC churches that I remember being very liberal (back in the 70s). Seems hard to believe that they vote Republican now -- anyone know?

While there are plenty of areas that are undoubtedly, unconvertably Republican in Waukesha County (such as New Berlin), I can't believe that Democrats can't get any traction there at all (though I'm sure it's changed a lot since I grew up there).
