22. Just indicative of the the throwaway, outsource it mentality in this country
Who cares if you started it, nurtureded it, kept it growing and made it a tradition? There are newer, flashier people waiting to kick you to the curb and take it over. Who cares about tradition? It's all about MEEEEE..."*I* want to see a different team so the hell with you." The same mentality that made people tear down architectually spectacular buildings because they'd rather build a new one than attend to the decay that the building was experiencing. Why should we preserve the old when we can replace it.

I HATE that way of thinking. I'm all for progress but not at this price; there is no sense of preservation about anything anymore. No pride in tradition. It makes me sad.

I'm glad there are so many people here who understand tradition. Without that, we have nothing. Nothing. It might be just a football game now but it's our whole way of life later.
