Instant replay not only corrects bad calls, but it changes the culture of officiating by forcing the umps to work together on calls. No ump wants to be overruled on the field. So, they should work in tandem to make sure that the calls are right.
Instant replay should work on a challenge system with each team getting one challenge on plays on the bases. With two challenges in the post season. Or the plays can be reviewed by an ump in the press box like college football.
