All gay people are perfectly gorgeous, have 11% body fat (if that) with well-defined musculature, no hair below the ears, dress impeccably and are far more screwed up than anyone you will ever know.

Yeah, yeah, I know: Television is not reality, not even the "reality" shows. But what is it with American producers taking well done, realistic British soaps and turning them into fantasy visions with absolutely no basis in truth? I have been out and proud for going on 25 years and I have NEVER in all my years known even one person who was so pretty, so petty, so addict-prone and so emotionally messed up as any one of these characters.

Shows like this are why I only watch "Project Runway" and the Weather Channel.

(I am fully aware that I am :banghead: and :rant: so don't bother pointing that out.)
