16. I don't think they have any idea about two people falling in love
Those clowns believe "love" and "marriage" is about duty to God, not about falling in love. After all, "religious" fanatics were all about the "tradition" of only blessing unions arranged by families years ago, regardless of any feelings of "love." They tried to popularize the notion that any heterosexual couple would fall in love if thrown together by outside forces. It was all about church domination and interference in the rights of individuals - just as it is today.

Their arrogance about "disagreeing" with the "homosexual lifestyle" because their chosen church has selected gay-bashing as a moneymaking scheme is disgusting. But that arrogance is only underscored by their "unyielding commitment" that they alone have the right to interfere with the rights of others. They can't merely say "I'm not gay because I'm a right-wing "Christian" and my "religious beliefs" won't allow it" - mostly because they aren't gay anyway. Instead, they have to say "No one can be gay because I'm a right-wing "Christian" and my "religious beliefs" won't allow it." It's all about domination.

I shut a wingnut "Christian" up once who started going on and on about the sinful homosexuals, explaining how God doesn't like it. I just responded "so you aren't gay because your "religious" beliefs won't allow it." They looked at me real funny and said "No - I'm not gay. But God didn't make anyone to be gay." I laughed and said "in other words, your "religious" beliefs won't allow YOU to be gay - so you assume everyone else is supposed to be held captive to your "religious" beliefs." That shut them up.

Make them own their own shit.
